Reviews
Authentic Italian taste & flavorful ingredients. A phenomenal low lit atmosphere with an amazing pasta menu. The Lasagna & Cavatelli were 2 fantastic dishes of choice recommended by the waiter.
Service was attentive & friendly from beginning to end. Our waiter went above & beyond to ensure that we were always well attended and at the table.
I highly recommend this establishment if you are seeking an intimate settings with a fabulous appetite for pasta..
This restaurant is located inside of a butcher shop. As you pass through a narrow hallway you come upon a beautiful countryside view. Highly suggest any of their red meat dishes!
This place is a great little Italian spot! We ordered two bottles of Prosecco along with the Fried Mozzarella with Truffle Oil and the Grilled Calamari. Both were very tasty! They also give you bread and oil to start with. For entrees we ordered the Gnocchi and Strozzapreti which was a pesto based sauce with shrimp. Both were absolutely delicious! The sauces were rich in flavor and the portions were generous! We topped off our dinner with two espresso martinis. They were good but didn’t need the cinnamon on top in my opinion. Our server was good but I don’t remember his name sadly. Overall, I will absolutely go back to dine here!
I want to highlight the great work of Josue, a great human being and server all the time with a friendly smile and the best recommendations for desserts, wine, food! You have a great partner on him!!! I was in Italy in October and he made me transport myself there.
Tell him that I am extremely grateful for his great service, patience and dedication from him and my friends too!
Our first time there and we already want to go back, he made us our favorite Italian place in Washington DC!
Much success and blessings!!!
Keep it up!!!
Amazingly fresh pasta made by hand. The restaurant is a bit small and cramped but the food here is delicious. I really liked the short rib pasta and my friends liked the squid ink pasta and clam pasta.
I used to travel to Italy several times a year on business. Always loved the food and, well, everything about the country.
I forgot how a really authentic Italian meal could transport you to a memory.
My meal transported me back to Roma. This food is AMAZING!
The staff is so engaging and friendly. Erica is the best bartender I have experienced in DC.
If you are trying to choose a restaurant in this neighborhood do not miss the opportunity to eat here. It’s magic.
Delicious food and excellent service. Oxtail Lasagna was really good flavored well. Excellent customer service and very attentive.
Best lasagna ever, it’s very rich and flavorful. The short rib pasta was great too, nice and tender but the oxtail lasagna is definitely special!! The bartender was very nice, but I didn’t like the old fashion cocktails. Nonetheless, a great dining experience overall!
